PRACTICE UPDATE - August 2022

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Leland Wilhoite has acquired the practice of Dr. Tom Clark and is merging their practices to form Wilhoite Family Dental. Both locations will continue to serve their patients. Joining Dr. Clark at 3410 W Purdue is Dr. Shelby Kirts. Dr. Kirts is originally from Lafayette, IN where she attended Purdue University for undergrad. She and her husband, Taylor, relocated to Indianapolis where she attended dental school at IU School of Dentistry. They, along with their two dogs Harper and Poppy, now live in Yorktown. Dr. Clark will continue to see patients, and Dr. Kirts looks forward to serving our patients with the same kindness and professionalism that Dr. Clark always has. Dr. Wilhoite will continue to see patients at his office at 2326 W Jackson St., and Dr. Kirts will be practicing at both locations.

About Dr. Clark

Dr. Clark graduated from Indiana University with an AB degree in Biological Science. In 1980 he graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry and completed a general practice residency at Denver General Hospital in 1981. Dr. Clark is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Indiana Dental Association and East Central Indiana Dental Society.

Dr. Clark has received training at the Spear Institute located in Seattle, WA and Scottsdale, AZ. Frank Spear, DDS, MSD is recognized as one of the most influential speakers and educators in restorative and esthetic dentistry today.

Dr. Clark updates his dental education by attending numerous educational seminars each year. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, hiking, skiing and outdoor photography. Dr. Clark served 7 years on the Muncie Symphony Board, past president of Catalina Club, general Chairman of WIPB telesale, Board Member of Muncie Endurathon Committee, past president of Lyndenbrook Owners Association and past president of Woodland Gardens Condominium Association. Some of Dr. Clark's most rewarding experiences have been his numerous medical-dental mission trips to Honduras and The Yucatan Penisula of Mexico.
